Isekai Ent - UXD
This May be an INDIE GAME but it had scope & vision
Sword Reverie was one of the first full fast paced VR action open world ARPG games. As the UXD I owned all the UX experiences, from onboarding, settings, to in game UI. Back in 2010-2020, this was long before VR design best practices were developed, so our team had to create many future driven UI's & set industry standard in spatial design.
Creating a User Centered Experience in VR
Designed and shipped in-game VR HUD, progression, menu UI, crafting UI, setting UI in Unity. (Game released at 2022)Managed UX workflow of 8 creative contractors (artists, 3D modelers, and animators) in Unity. Oversaw the preparation and final production of all art, marketing, vendor file hand offs, physical, and UX designs.Created rapid VR prototypes in Unity to gather data from multiple sources.Shipped Sword Reverie early access on SteamVR & Oculus as the top 1 trending game on launch day.
